COERR Kanchanaburi and Mae Sod Organized Livelihood Training for Youth

   In the last November, COERR organized several livelihood and vocational training courses for the needy youth.

   COERR Kanchanaburi organized 3-day training courses in Ban Don Yang temporary shelter.

   On November 16, 2022, COERR organized rice balls in sweet coconut milk making in which the trainer introduced ingredients and explained how to prepare and cook. Then participants started to cook. There were 38 participants of 29 females and 9 males

   On the next day, November 17, trainer taught the tie-dye clothes making and designs. Some learners followed the trainer but some had their own design. When the work was done, they were very proud of their production and wished to provide this knowledge to friends. There were 31 participants of 26 females and 5 males.

   On the next day, November 18, the making of Thongyo which was steamed rice mix with white sesame and food coloring to make it appetizing, was taught. There were 12 participants of 10 females and 2 males attending the training course.

   COERR Mae Sot organized 3 training courses in Ban Mae La temporary shelter in Tak Province. On November 22, 2022, doormat was made from used cloth leftover in each house. The finished products were then given to the poor by the trainees who learned about sharing.

   Later, on November 25, 2022, clothes weaving and dish washing liquid making were taught to 8 female participants.
